Core – Canvas VLE

Implementation packages: These implementation packages are flexible in that Instructure can add or remove additional services (training / technical consulting) as needed. This would be scoped following expression of interest with the institution so Instructure can deliver success in the partnership.

Enhanced Implementation: Instructure provide dedicated resources, core, additional training and consulting, and help to manage your project to ensure a successful implementation process. (Typically 14-20 weeks)

Premium Implementation: We fully manage your project and apply proven best practices to rapidly drive implementation and work with you to meet your vision and goals for Canvas. (Typically 30 – 44 weeks)

Canvas Studio: Canvas Studio is the video engagement platform that sits within Canvas and allows for the creation of interactive content and use of video to promote active learning including the embedding of quizzes, discussions. Also provides auto captioning for accessibility and engagement analytics of users.

Canvas Catalog: Canvas Catalog is a shopfront that will market individual or multi-course programmes courses to users and allow them to register immediately. Catalog will integrate with multiple payment gateways as an “all-in-one” solution for lifelong learning and the provision of non credit bearing courses.

Canvas Credentials: Canvas Credentials is a digital badging platform that aligns to the open badge standard and enables users to receive an unlimited number of badges that are stored in their digital backpack and available to them for life. Digital credentials / badges are portable, verifiable and stackable through our Pathways functionality.

Impact: Impact allows administrative user of Canvas to surface insights on platform adoption and target specific groups of users with messaging to enhance the learning experience. Impact also provides a contextual support centre for users.

Canvas Archiving: Canvas Archiving allows for the backup of teaching and learning content / submissions in order to keep your VLE data clean and within governance policy.

Basic Administrator support (6am - 6pm local time) is included with all Instructure product subscription fees for no extra charge.

• Includes around-the-clock, year-round support for administrators provided by a pool of experienced Instructure support engineers
• Up to three Administrators

Tier 1 Faculty & Student (Hi-ED) Support

• Support for all users, including administrators, teacher’s and student’s,
• Year-round support, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
• All users can call or contact Instructure online (chat or web form) for technical and pedagogical support.
• All users will benefit from access to the Instructure Community, 24/7, 365 days a year.
• Users can deepen and strengthen their knowledge via walkthrough tutorials, video tutorials, FAQs, and discussion boards. The Community contains the following comprehensive guides, which are continually updated and maintained by our dedicated Documentation team:

How to Order

1. Complete the expression of interest form, once submitted this will be sent directly to Instructure Global
   
   
2. When received Instructure Global will review and contact the institution directly to discuss requirements and options
   
   
3. Instructure Global and the institution agree will agree on finalised options
   
   
4. Instructure Global will provide Chest with a copy of the finalised quote
   
   
5. The institution is required to place an order through the Chest (to place an order you will need to Log in, If you don't have a Chest account, you can register)
   
   
6. On receipt of a completed quote, Chest order and Purchase Order (if required) and  the Institutions will be invoiced for the agreement Year in which the licence is signed.
