SAS Chest Agreement- New Orders Only

In July 2025, we announced the renewal of the Chest - SAS - Renewals Only agreement, and explained that an amendment for SAS- New Orders Only was being negotiated. We promised to update you once it became available.

We’re pleased to confirm that the SAS New Orders Only Agreement is now live on the Chest platform: Chest - SAS - New Orders Only

This new agreement should be used by:

• Sites wishing to purchase a new SAS licence (that were not licensed for SAS during the 2024/25 licence year)
• Institutions wishing to renew SAS but not on a like-for-like basis

The Chest SAS agreement is active until 31 July 2026. 

If a site purchases a new SAS licence part way through the licence year, monthly pro-rating will apply.
