  • 100% OA waiver – The OA waiver program provides an offset of 100% for APC’s. If an individual’s research is accepted into any one of IGI Global‘s 185 journals, they will be given the option to utilise the APC waiver from the institution's fund. IGI Global’s APC is currently US$ 1,500 (e.g. If an institution’s spend is $15,000 then they have 10 free of charge APC’s to use in the year of purchase / subscription).

IGI Global will share when waivers are used with the key library contact (Admin Contact on order) on file. Typically, they are asked for waiver usage and/or pending article submission report updates quarterly.

IGI doesn't need approval for the waiver to be claimed. However, if someone from the library wants to monitor/approve funds, they are happy to facilitate this request.
