Join Hexiosec and Jisc for this introductory webinar to find out more about the new Hexiosec ASM and Transfer Agreement.

In response to the results from the recent research project on the National Picture of Risk for ac.uk, we are pleased to introduce the new Hexiosec Agreement, to support the community in understanding and having visibility of an organisation's attack surface. UK cyber security company Hexiosec provides Hexiosec ASM, an External Attack Surface Management platform, and Hexiosec Transfer, a UK sovereign end-to-end encrypted File Transfer solution.

The Hexiosec Agreement features two products:

Hexiosec ASM helps institutions find and fix security risks in their online-facing systems before attackers can exploit them. It shows what parts of your IT are exposed to the internet — including anything forgotten or misconfigured — and checks them for vulnerabilities, helping reduce the risk of data breaches or ransomware. This is particularly relevant for higher and further education establishments, which often have large, diverse IT environments and many publicly accessible systems where it can be difficult to keep track.

This solution is relevant to IT security teams, infrastructure teams, and those responsible for cyber risk and compliance. This would be of interest to Head of Information Security, IT Security Manager, Network or Infrastructure Manager, IT Risk/Compliance Officer, CISO or Deputy CISO (in larger institutions).

Hexiosec Transfer provides a secure, auditable way to send sensitive, confidential or large files — without relying on email or consumer file-sharing services. It uses full end-to-end encryption, meaning no one else (not even Hexiosec) can read them in between. It also ensures UK data sovereignty, with all data stored and processed exclusively within the UK, by a UK company — ideal for UK institutions with data protection obligations. This is particularly relevant for education establishments handling research data, student records, or personal information, where data security and compliance are essential.

Hexiosec Transfer is designed for use across the whole institution — by anyone who needs to send sensitive or important files securely. This includes staff handling personal, financial, or confidential information; Researchers and academics sharing project or research data; Administrative teams managing student or staff records; Teams responsible for IT, data protection, or compliance.

If you can’t make this day and time, please register anyway and you'll be sent a recording as soon as it becomes available.

This event is being hosted by Hexiosec, not Jisc.  Signing up will require you to provide personal details to them, please only sign up if you are happy to do so.  If there is sufficient demand, Jisc could host a similar event, please do let us know (help@chest.ac.uk) if this is the case.
