This Agreement is of 3 years duration. Institutions may join the agreement at any time during the agreement period. They will then be committed to the end of the Agreement Period unless they give appropriate notice to cancel.

Universities, colleges and other learning, educational and research bodies in the UK and Republic of Ireland.
Other organisations aligned with Eduserv’s charitable objectives of supporting education, research bodies and the public sector may ask to participate in the Agreement. Eduserv will liaise with the Supplier about any such requests.
The UN iLibrary has recently been digitised and made available through the OECD platform – it is being made available as part of that agreement or as a standalone product.

The United Nations iLibrary is the first comprehensive global search, discovery, and viewing source for digital content created by the United Nations.
It provides librarians, information specialists, scholars, students, policy makers, influencers and the general public with a single digital destination for seamlessly accessing publications, journals, data, and series published by the United Nations Secretariat, and its funds and programs.
United Nations iLibrary offers an extensive list of features that deliver flexibility, speed, and efficiency such as intuitive navigation, integrated search results, granular content, citation tool, DOI identification, and multilingual content.
Every year around 500 new titles are planned to be added to United Nations iLibrary. Approximately 70% of which are in English and cover the following topics:

The Chest Order, together with the Licence Terms and Conditions, and any exceptions listed below, create a legally binding contract between your institution, organisation or company and the Licensor. Therefore please read the terms and conditions carefully and only submit a Chest Order if its terms and conditions are acceptable to your institution, organisation or company and you have the authority to make the financial commitment shown.
This Site licence is subject to the terms and conditions for the Standard Chest Licence for Online Resources. Exceptions to these terms and conditions are shown at the bottom of the page.

The resources can be used for Educational Purposes – defined as:
Exclusions:
Post termination copies of parts of the Licensed Material already made and/or used by the Licensee or Authorised Users in accordance with clause 2.2 may be retained and used in accordance with the terms of this Licence Agreement – see Licence Term 10.5.
The Fee for early termination in accordance with clause 10.4 of the Terms and Conditions for the Standard Chest Licence for Online Resources is nil.
The Fee for retention rights upon termination in accordance with clause 10.5 of the Terms and Conditions for the Standard Chest Licence for Online Resources is nil.
Once the Agreement has terminated then no further access to the service and to future publications will be possible unless the Agreement is renewed or extended.
If the Agreement is renewed or extended then new conditions will apply. If the Agreement is not renewed then renewal is a matter between Institutions and OECD.
Institutions have the right to opt out of the agreement each year by giving notice on or before 1 October to cancel with effective from 31 January the following year.
Personal licences are not available under this Agreement.
Clause 10.4 of the Terms and Conditions for the Standard Chest Licence for Online Resources has been amended for this Agreement. The written notice period is 120 days, and not 60. Therefore, written notice of early termination should be served on or shortly around the 1 October prior to the subsequent term end date of 31 January.
Currency: All prices are in GBP and exclude VAT
Subscription Year: 1 February - 31 January
