The New Scientist Chest Agreement has been renewed to October 2021
Sites must place a new order for the period from 1 October 2020 to 30 September 2021

This Agreement is of 1 year's duration. Institutions may join the agreement at any time during the agreement period. They will then be committed to the end of the Agreement Period.

Universities, colleges and other learning, educational and research bodies in the UK and Republic of Ireland.
Other organisations aligned with Chest’s charitable objectives of supporting education, research bodies and the public sector may ask to participate in the Agreement. Chest will liaise with the Supplier about any such requests.
This continues the successful agreement which has been in place since 2007. which was negotiated in response to over 30 requests from Higher and Further Education institutions.

New Scientist website is an important reference tool which gives users instant access to relevant and up-to-date science and technology content. This continually expanding library of news, analysis, facts and figures covers a large variety of science subjects including: life sciences, physics, chemistry, earth, environment, astronomy, space, maths and technology.
A subscription includes access to all editions published during the Chest Agreement plus access to all archived editions published between and including 1989 and the beginning of the Chest Agreement.
