Commitment Period

This Agreement is of 3 years duration. Institutions may join the agreement at any time during the agreement period. They will then be committed to the end of that period.

Eligible Institutions

Higher and Further Education and Research Councils in the United Kingdom, and to Universities and Colleges of Further Education in the Republic of Ireland.

Other organisations aligned with Eduserv’s charitable objectives of supporting education, research bodies and the public sector may ask to participate in the Agreement. Eduserv will liaise with the Supplier about any such requests.

Passport – available to HE and FE

Passport is Euromonitor’s premium research package which 80% of Europe’s leading business schools subscribe to. It supports teaching and research across a wide range of disciplines at both undergrad and post grad level.

The database holds statistics, country reports, global reports and company profiles for 27 industries across 210 countries as well as business and consumer lifestyles research for all the countries in the world. In addition Passport offers thousands of timely articles written by Euromonitor’s analysts and focuses on the impact and implication of breaking industry news as well as social, economic and political developments affecting consumers on both a national and global scale.

The database holds statistics and market analysis for 24 FMCG (fast moving consumer goods) industries across 80 core countries.

Passport provides students with the most complete and up-to-date picture of the economy and the different consumer and service markets in their country and worldwide enhancing not only their research opportunities but also their employability prospects as this is the same data used by their prospective employers.

• Detailed analysis of consumer and industrial markets around the world across 781 cities, 210 countries, and 27 industries with historic data from 1997 and forecasts through 2020. Passport data is completely cross-country comparable.

Research Monitor is a reference database that has been designed specifically for libraries. A subscription offers users a cost-effective introduction to Euromonitor’s industry and country research with more than 5,000 industry and country market reports and statistical datafiles. In addition, there is timely analysis including daily and weekly articles and opinion pieces on new and emerging trends from industry and country experts.

Coverage is global. There are market reports across 25+ consumer industries for 80 countries and statistics for 210 countries.

Updates

Different types of content are updated at different intervals and timed throughout a 12 month period. There is annual data and reports that are updated on a rolling schedule. In addition there are industry reports that are updated weekly and monthly.

All additions and new functionality will be incorporated at no additional charge

Each subscriber is assigned a personal account manager who can deliver online trainings to all authorised users. In addition there are ‘how-to’ videos located in the database than illustrate how to effectively use the system. Euromonitor also provides ‘how-to’ and ‘quick-start’ guides in Power Point and PDF format.
