James Mulhern is Chief Information Security Officer for Eduserv, responsible for networks, security and information assurance across the whole company. James graduated from University of Wales Aberystwyth with a BSc (Hons) in 1992 and went on to gain an MSc in Computer Science.
After IT roles at the University of Wales and University of Bath where he was responsible for projects in access control and the roll out of ATM networks, he joined Eduserv in 1997 where he has undertaken a number of management roles in research and development, operations, networks and security.
James has been involved in implementing and managing high-profile projects for many of our key clients, including such as the National Assembly for Wales, the Department for Education, the Department for Business Innovation and Skills, JISC, the Cabinet Office and the Metropolitan Police Service.
As Chief Information Security Officer James has led the implementation of our Information Security Management and RMADS accreditation of systems for central government departments.
